Required Skills
- Current CRNA license in Michigan or ability to obtain
- Active ACLS certification
- Proven experience with hospital-based anesthesia
- Strong understanding of adult and geriatric patient care
- Excellent procedural skills in general surgical cases
- Ability to work independently within supervised practice guidelines
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Have Skills
- Additional certifications such as PALS or Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
- Prior experience in trauma settings
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Preferred Education and Experience
- Master's degree or higher in Nurse Anesthesia or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of anesthesia practice in a hospital environment
- Previous experience covering Level III trauma centers preferred
Other Requirements
- Credentialing process completion within 90-120 days
- Local travel only; mileage reimbursement provided
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts (40 hours/week)
- No on-call responsibilities required
