Overview
Henry Ford Rochester Hospital is seeking a qualified and motivated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join their team as a locum provider starting June 15, 2026. In this pivotal role, you will deliver high-quality anesthesia care across various specialties including cardiovascular, neuro, general surgery, ENT, urology, orthopedics, and more. Whether you're an experienced CRNA or a new graduate eager to grow your skills, this position offers a stimulating environment with a broad caseload and collaborative team dynamics.
Required Skills
- Active RN license in Michigan
- NBCRNA certification (Agencies must verify license eligibility)
- Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program (Masters or Doctorate)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and teamwork orientation
- Ability to administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care
- Experience with airway management procedures such as IV insertions and arterial lines is a plus
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with arterial line insertion, floor intubations, and advanced airway procedures
- Knowledge of hospital EMR systems; familiarity with Epic is a plus (transitioning in June 2026)
- Prior experience in a Level 3 trauma setting or outpatient procedures
- Additional certifications or training in pain management or sedation techniques
Preferred Education and Experience
- Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program (Masters or Doctorate preferred)
- Prior clinical experience in hospital or surgical settings
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply and will be considered
Other Requirements
- Availability to work 8 or 10-hour day shifts
- Flexibility to cover various out-of-department services including cardiology, OB, endoscopy, and radiology
- Credentialing process estimated to take 90-120 days; temporary privileges requested
- Travel, licensure, certification, and related expenses are permissible for reimbursement where applicable; mileage will not be reimbursed
- Henry Ford does not reimburse background checks, application, or credentialing fees
