We’re seeking highly skilled CRNAs who possess excellent clinical judgment, strong communication abilities, and a collaborative spirit. You should be adept at conducting pre-anesthesia assessments, administering various anesthesia modalities, and managing anesthesia-related complications with confidence. Comfortable working independently under supervision and prepared to deliver safe, high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients is essential.
Ideal candidates will hold a current RN license, NBCRNA certification, and be graduates of accredited nurse anesthesia programs with either a Masters or Doctorate degree. Certification in BLS and ACLS is required, with PALS preferred. Previous experience with general, obstetrical, and neurosurgical cases is advantageous, as is proficiency in arterial line insertion, IV placements, and floor intubations.
Preferred candidates will have experience in a hospital environment, knowledge of Epic documentation (to be fully transitioned by June 2026), and hold board certification through the AANA. New grads are encouraged to apply, as we value enthusiasm and a dedication to excellence.
Additional requirements include meeting licensure and credentialing standards, with an estimated credentialing timeframe of 90-120 days. This role involves working 8 or 10-hour scheduled shifts across a Level 3 trauma center with a busy surgical caseload averaging 35 cases per day. No mileage reimbursement is provided, and Henry Ford does not cover background check, application, or credentialing fees.
