Exciting Opportunity for Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) in Jackson, MI!

Join our esteemed anesthesia team at a respected Level II Trauma Center in Jackson, Michigan, where you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality anesthesia care across a diverse patient population, from pediatrics to geriatrics. This supervised locum position offers excellent compensation, a supportive environment, and opportunities for potential permanent placement.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CRNA to administer anesthesia for general surgeries, including neurosurgical procedures and spinal anesthesia, in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Work scheduled shifts with no on-call duties, enjoy flexible hours, and be part of a team committed to excellence and safety. Your expertise will contribute to approximately 50 surgical cases daily, making each day professionally rewarding.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Current Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist certification (CRNA)
  • Valid state licensure to practice in Michigan
  • Proven experience in general anesthesia, with familiarity in neurosurgical and spinal cases preferred
  • Strong patient monitoring skills, including airway management and ventilatory support
  • Excellent documentation skills with EMR systems, specifically Epic preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment providing supervised anesthesia care

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with trauma center protocols
  • Prior exposure to pediatric anesthesia
  • Additional certifications in advanced airway management or regional anesthesia

Preferred Education & Experience:
  • Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in an operating room setting, ideally with diverse case types

Other Requirements:
  • Availability for 32-40 hours per week, with shifts of 8 or 10 hours, Monday or Friday shifts only
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Willingness to travel for credentialing and licensing processes; credentialing typically takes 90-120 days
  • Reimbursement is available for licensure, certifications, travel, and other eligible expenses where applicable
