ABOUT THE ROLE
The Location Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of a school bus location. This position leads a team of employees to deliver safe, reliable transportation service, while maintaining strong customer relationships and managing a profitable operation.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Operations Service & Delivery
Plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of a school bus location
Update and maintain routes using Traversa or other routing software
Coordinate operations across drivers, buses, safety, and maintenance
Ensure all drivers follow state and federal regulations
Financial & Administrative Management
Prepare and manage the location budget
Monitor and control labor and operating expenses
Process and maintain payroll records
Oversee monthly billing and all monies due into the location, including petty cash
Coordinate the review of dispatch sheets with driver daily time
Workforce Leadership
Hire, interview, and onboard new employees
Review driver bids and assign routes and charters
Handle conflicts and administer progressive discipline
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
Customer & Stakeholder Management
Respond to school department, parent, and student concerns
Initiate corrective actions to resolve service issues
Answer routine phone calls, mail, and inquiry requests

WHAT YOU BRING
Experience
3+ years of supervisory experience (transportation preferred)
Some college coursework or relevant industry experience
Licensing (Preferred)
CDL with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements preferred (not required)

Strong communication across employees and school personnel
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and computer systems
