Due to an increase in customer demand, CommScope is hiring Local Truck Driver in Catawba, NC.

How You'll Help Us Connect The World

This position requires experience driving truck equipment in day or night hours, all terrains and in all-weather conditions. This position covers on-site plant moves only.

Responsibilities and accountability:

• Driving a local truck or any company vehicle as needed. • Load and unload truck using forklift.
• Accurate documentation of all paperwork.
• Daily vehicle, trailer and yard inspections ensuring equipment is maintained in a clean and sanitary manner.
• Timely communications with people involved with continued operations of company facilities.
• Ensure vehicles and trailers dropped are properly secured.

Required Qualifications

• Must be 25 years or older with a High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 4 years of CDL Truck Driver experience and a Valid Commercial Drivers License from state of residency. • Must have current DOT physical and no preventable accident during the previous 3 years.
• Must be physically capable of safely handling heavy freight by loading of flatbeds and be Forklift certified or willing to certify.

You Will Excite Us If You Have

• Previous warehouse and forklift experience.
• Previous straight truck driving experience.
