Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an 11-week local contract assignment in Lancaster, New Hampshire. The LPN will provide direct patient care in a skilled nursing environment, supporting residents across flexible day and evening coverage needs.
This role requires adaptability, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work rotating schedules across a 7-day facility coverage model.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care under RN supervision
Administer medications and prescribed treatments
Monitor and document patient conditions and vital signs
Assist with care planning and resident needs
Support patients with activities of daily living
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Collaborate with healthcare and nursing teams
Follow infection prevention and safety protocols
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity
Requirements
Active LPN/LVN license required
Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience preferred
Current BLS certification required
Experience in skilled nursing preferred
Ability to work flexible day/evening rotations
Strong communication and documentation skills
Must comply with facility health and safety requirements
Valid government-issued photo identification required
COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption may be required
