Job Description: Cooks III who will be responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other food items in a restaurant, inspecting and cleaning food preparation areas, such as equipment, work surfaces, or serving areas, to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices, ensuring freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items and rotating stock, purchasing food or other supplies as needed, consulting with supervisory staff to plan menus, observing and testing foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently, using methods such as tasting, smelling, or piercing them with utensils, and providing coordination and guidance for kitchen staff. 
 
Experience Requirement: Six (6) months of culinary experience in a related field in a fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club required. 
Education Requirement: No Level of Education Required.

Special Requirements for the Job: Six (6) months of culinary experience in a related field in a high-volume environment at a full service or concessions restaurant, resort, or events is required.

Hours Per Week: 35 
Frequency of Pay: Bi-weekly 
Days and Shifts: Following Shifts available 7 days a week including weekends and holidays. 7:00am to 2:00pm, 9:00am to 5:00pm, or 10:00am to 8:00pm. Shift available 7 days a week, hours may vary and include weekends and holidays. 
Hourly Wage: $19.48 to $23.00 per hour (based on merit and past experience with our company) 
Possible Wage I
ncrease: Pay raises based on merit and previous experience with our company. 
Overtime Possible: Overtime may be available at $29.22 to $34.50 per hour. 
Pay Period: A single work week, starting Saturday-Friday, will be used to calculate hourly wages, and will be paid Bi-weekly. 
 
Optional housing is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis for workers who are relocating to begin employment. Move-in costs will include security fee ("deposit") and one month license fee ("rent"). Cost of housing is $800 per month, including utilities. The security fee will be equal
to one month license fee and is due within seven days of housing offer. 
Transportation: None. Daily transportation to and from worksite is available for those living in employee housing (free local bus service).
 
Optional Deductions from Paych
eck: Rent will be deducted on a bi-weekly basis from paycheck.

Inbound/Outbound Transportation: Transportation and subsistence costs from the place from which the worker has to travel, whether in the U.S. or abroad, to the place of employment will be provided to the worker by check if the worker completes 50% of the period of employment. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable cost of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances inv
olved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 Per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts, consistent with 20 CFR.20(j)(1)(i) and 20 CFR 655.20(j)(1)(ii). Tools: The employer will provide to the worker, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assign in accordance with 20 CFR 655.20(k).
