HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Anchorage, Alaska.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit

Requirements:

• Education: Associates Degree or Higher
• Experience: 1 year of Stepdown ICU RN experience in the Inpatient Hospital Setting
• Licensure: AK RN License
• Certifications:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS
• Skill Set:
  • Charge Experience
  • Experience with trach patients requiring continuous BiPap/long term vent support
  • Experience with titratable drips including: dopamine, dobutamine, nitro, cardene, ketamine, heparin, Cardizem, amiodarone
  • Experience with CIWA assessments and Alcohol/Drug withdrawal treatment
• Typical Procedures:
  • Emergent cardioversion
  • Any procedures requiring moderate sedation will be performed in a procedural area

- Bachelors Degree preferred - MediTech charting experience preferred - Travel experience preferred
