Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. This role involves planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs. The RN identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Responsibilities include developing and coordinating individualized care plans, performing therapeutic nursing interventions, managing patient care, and advocating for evidence-based practices. The RN provides patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice models.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 recent years of critical care, pre-op, and Recovery/PACU experience.
- Strong background in Telemetry.
- Telemetry certification.
- ASN degree.
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
- BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS certifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of PACU experience.
- BSN degree.
Additional Information:
- Hybrid nurses able to work in ICU, Preop, and PACU areas.
- Skills required: PACU or ICU training.
- Work hours: 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM (40 hours per week).
