Job Title: RN – Nurse Educator

Description:
- Serve as a Nurse Educator, providing clinical education, training, and professional development for nursing staff.
- Must have hands-on experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab environment.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs to support clinical excellence and patient care standards.
- Provide mentorship, competency assessments, and ongoing staff development.
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to identify educational needs and ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support evidence-based practice initiatives and quality improvement programs.
- Maintain accurate educational records and documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Education (required).
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited Nursing Program.
- Minimum two (2) years of Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) nursing experience.
- Strong clinical background with demonstrated nursing expertise.
- Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab nursing.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Primary Source Verification of License and Registration of Registered Professional Nurse through the New York State Department of Education (NYSED).
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
