Cargo/Freight, Class A License, Distribution Services, Pallet Jack, Truck Driver
We are seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers for a local, home-daily position out of Shelbyville, IN. This position delivers grocery freight from the distribution center to store locations throughout Illinois, Ohio, and Indiana, with drivers unloading freight using a motorized pallet jack.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must have 3 months Tractor Trailer driving experience
- Must have personal transportation to and from the distribution center
- We are seeking truck drivers that have a safe and clean record
Job Details
- Deliveries are made for a dedicated customer
- Unload freight from the trailer into store back rooms
- Average weekly miles: 1400-1600
- Routes may include Illinois, Ohio, and Indiana
- Drivers operate day cab tractors
Schedule
- Home daily
- Night shift
- Start times are between 10 PM–Midnight or 2 AM-5AM
- Nights, weekends, and holidays required
Compensation
- Average weekly pay: $1,700-$1,900
- $7,500 sign on bonus
- Benefit package including medical, dental, vision
