Position Summary

BlueLinx is seeking professional CDL-A drivers to operate newer, well-maintained equipment on local routes while delivering building materials safely and accurately. Drivers earn $29.50 per hour with daily overtime after 8 hours worked. This role offers home-daily routes, no weekend hours, first-shift schedules, excellent benefits, and a team culture focused on safety, respect, and dependable service.

What Drivers Will Deliver

• Safely secure loads using straps only; no tarping required.
• Deliver freight accurately and on time while supporting customer service expectations.
• Handle customer product returns when required.
• Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork and customer documentation.
• Communicate professionally with customers and report issues promptly.
• Maintain daily safety checklists and complete required DOT inspections.
• Maintain electronic logbooks and complete trip reports.
• Direct customer unloading when required.

Applicant Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• At least 12 months of recent verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years.
• Safe driving record.
• Ability to properly secure loads.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
