Shape Busy Workdays Outdoors as a Local CDL‑A Yard Operations Specialist

Your Day, At a Glance

At 7:00 AM, you’ve completed your pre-trip checks and mapped out the morning’s local runs. By mid-morning, you’re moving materials with a forklift, staging orders, and keeping the yard flowing. The afternoon brings a mix of short-haul driving and inventory movement so everything is set for tomorrow. At 5:00 PM, you wrap with a sense of accomplishment—everything in its place and customers well served.

Compensation & Hours

• Pay: Up to $30/hr (Based on Experience)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

What You’ll Tackle

• Operate Class A commercial vehicles for local hauls
• Load and unload trucks with building materials safely and efficiently
• Run forklifts and other yard equipment to move and stage products
• Organize, rotate, and maintain inventory across the yard
• Support day-to-day shipping and receiving activities

What You Bring

• Active CDL Class A license (required)
• Hands-on experience driving large commercial vehicles
• Comfort with physical work in an outdoor environment
• Background in a yard, warehouse, construction, or building materials setting (preferred)
• Forklift experience is a plus
