Home EVERY day, no driver assist on any load, and you get paid

$22 a stop on top of your mileage. Dedicated intermodal work out

of Troutdale running local freight in the Portland and Salem

area. 10 seats open.

THE POSITION

- Freight: dedicated intermodal

- Equipment: containers on chassis

- Local freight in the Portland and Salem area

- One run per week on average out to Hermiston, OR and

Grandview, WA

- Crossing into Washington is a requirement on this account

- Drop and hook, preloads, live loads and live unloads

- NO driver assist loads

- Approx. 1,000 to 1,500 miles per week

- Solo only (team seats are closed on this account)

PAY

- $0.65 per mile

- $22.00 stop pay on ALL loads — averages $44 per load

- Average $1,400 to $1,800 per week

- $5,000 bonus paid out in increments — $750 for every 50

customer deliveries and/or pickups

- Weekly pay

HOME TIME

- HOME DAILY

- 34-hour restarts

SCHEDULE

- Both day and night shifts available

- Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday

- Weekend work required

- Holidays optional

Three things you should know going in. Your days off are assigned

— you'll run either Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through

Saturday, and weekend work is part of the job, not an exception.

Crossing into Washington is required, so if you don't want to

leave Oregon this isn't your account. And the miles are short:

1,000 to 1,500 a week, which means your check is built on stops

and load count more than odometer. In exchange: you're home every

night, you never touch the freight, every single load pays stop

pay on top of mileage, and drivers here are running $1,400 to

$1,800 a week.

ORIENTATION

- Virtual orientation available, typically 30 minutes to 2 hours

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Read these before you apply. If you meet them, you'll move fast.

AGE & LICENSE

- 21 years or older

- Valid Class A CDL

- Must have held a U.S. driver's license the last 12 consecutive months

- Current DOT medical card (new DOT physical required at hire)

EXPERIENCE — one of the following

- 6 months OTR experience within the last 12 months, OR

- 12 months OTR experience within the last 5 years

DRIVING RECORD

- No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years

- No serious traffic violations in the last 12 months

- Speeding 30+ MPH over = automatic disqualification for 3 years

- Original ticket copies required for all citations in the last 3 years

ACCIDENTS

- No more than 1 DOT preventable accident in the last 2 years

- No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years

- No more than 3 preventable incidents in the last 2 years

- Preventable rear-end accident = 1 year disqualification

- Accident reports required for ALL accidents in the last 5 years

WORK HISTORY

- No more than 4 driving jobs in the last 12 months

- No more than 1 safety-related termination in the last 5 years

DUI / DWI

- No DUI/DWI in a commercial vehicle — ever

- No DUI/DWI in the last 10 years while holding a CDL or CLP

- No DUI/DWI in the 5 years before obtaining your CDL or CLP

- No multiple DUI/DWIs

DRUG & ALCOHOL TESTING

- No failed or refused drug tests — no exceptions

- Hair AND urine testing required, both must be passed

- No drug-related convictions in the last 5 years

CRIMINAL HISTORY

- Violence, theft, drug, and sex-related offenses reviewed individually

verification, criminal background review, MVR, Clearinghouse query,

drug testing, and final approval.
