Job Title: QA Analyst – Legal Document Review
Location:West Des Moines, IA – 800 S Jordan Creek Pkwy

Project Overview:

  • This role supports a Quality Assurance team within Loan Workout. The contractor will review legal documents related to customers involved in civil legal matters, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance before documents are sent to third-party legal partners.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review physical legal documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Validate documents against supporting and corresponding paperwork
  • Ensure documentation meets state and regulatory requirements
  • Perform quality checks before submission to external legal partners
  • Verify notarization on legal documents
  • Support judgment and complaint validation activities when required
  • Identify discrepancies, missing information, or documentation errors
  • Escalate issues based on QA and compliance guidelines
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 1+ year of relevant professional experience
  • Experience as a QA Analyst or performing QA-type responsibilities
  • Experience with civil litigation or civil legal procedures (preferred)
  • Knowledge of collection law (preferred)
  • Understanding of credit card servicing or collections (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and document review skills
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Basic computer skills
Nice to Have:
  • Paralegal certification
  • Legal assistant or litigation support experience
  • Banking or financial services experience
Work Environment:
  • Onsite role (5 days/week)
  • High-volume document review environment
  • Focus on legal, compliance, and QA validation work

Pay Range: $22- $25
  • The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
