The Loan Servicing Specialist is responsible for the boarding and ongoing maintenance of consumer, residential, and commercial loans. This role supports loan lifecycle activities and ensures accurate servicing, compliance, and customer support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform loan boarding and maintenance within the Bank's core system.
Process loan modifications, including deferrals and forbearances.
Handle customer payments and payoff requests, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email regarding balances, payment details, and loan status.
Monitor and manage insurance tracking, ensuring appropriate coverage is maintained.
Track and follow up on ticklers, including:
Insurance exceptions
Collateral perfection
Delinquent property taxes
Process lien releases upon loan payoff.
Collaborate with loan officers, underwriters, processors, branch staff, and insurance companies to resolve issues and ensure smooth loan servicing operations.
