Loan Administrative Assistant

Peoples National Bank is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Loan Administrative Assistant to assist with commercial and mortgage loan activities. This role supports the Community Bank President, Mortgage Loan Officers, and internal teams to help provide a smooth, timely, and professional loan experience for customers.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with commercial loan origination, renewals, and related support tasks.
• Support Mortgage Loan Officers with residential real estate loan applications.
• Review loan documents and help prepare complete, accurate loan packages.
• Keep loan workflow, pipeline reports, and tracking tools organized and up to date.
• Communicate with customers and provide timely follow-up throughout the loan process.
• Work closely with internal teams, including credit, processing, underwriting, closing, post-closing, and secondary market staff.
• Support business development, marketing activities, customer relationship management, and community relationship-building.
• Schedule appointments, organize meetings, and assist with presentations or business-related events.

• What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent communication, organization, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle confidential documents and sensitive information professionally.
• Knowledge of financial institution policies and procedures, or the ability to learn them.
• Ability to learn and follow laws and regulations related to loan support responsibilities.
