Do you enjoy working outdoors, solving technical problems with a laptop, and learning from experts in the field? Can you read a tape measure, handle math with ease, and follow precise safety rules? If so, you could be our next Load Test and Validation Operator.
Your Mission
- Download programs, set operating parameters, and clear error codes to validate crane performance.
- Work closely with Senior and Journey Test Operators to master test documentation—load charts, load test papers, and log book requirements—per Company policy.
- Use and interpret crane and rigging symbols and signals.
- Complete software training across a broad lineup of Manitowoc Crane products.
- Meet all required safety training within regulatory timeframes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by supporting Lean, 5S, and TPR initiatives.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned by supervision.
What You’ll Need
- Ability to read tape measures and other measuring tools.
- Basic computer skills and comfort with software-driven workflows.
- Competence with arithmetic (whole numbers, fractions, decimals).
- Familiarity with crane functions and safe operating practices.
- Commitment to obtain CCO Certification after hire as training is available based on business conditions.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 1 year of heavy equipment operating experience preferred.
Health & Safety
- Keep your area clean and organized to 5S standards.
- Always follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Engage in safety training and show competency.
- Report or correct unsafe acts and share improvement ideas.
- Those with CDL’s are required to have an annual physical.

Incumbent must be willing to work at various heights.
