POSITION SUMMARY
Our Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) and Mental Health Technicians in the Nurse Resources Team act as floating team members - going to the various departments at the hospital as needed.
Under the supervision of the Licensed Nurse, performs direct and indirect nursing care for patients. Is responsible for the care provided to assigned patients and accountable to the unit manager/charge nurse for such care. Provides care to assigned patients in conformance with Nursing Department Policies, Standards of Practice, physician orders, and an approved plan of care. Promotes communication of patients status, change in condition, and patients need with the licensed nurse. Functions within Nursing Department and CVMC-WDR policies and procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the nursing department and CVMC-Woodridge.
