Job Overview – LMSW Assistant Program Director (Clinical Outreach)
Compensation: $75,000 – $82,000/year
Location: New York, NY (In-Office)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

TAG MedStaffing is hiring a LMSW Assistant Program Director (Clinical Outreach) in New York, NY for our client, supporting outreach operations, housing placement initiatives, and program management within a community-based services environment. This role focuses on supervising outreach teams, coordinating services for individuals experiencing homelessness, and implementing best-practice interventions to support housing placement. The position requires strong leadership, collaboration with external partners, and flexibility to support 24/7 program needs.

Responsibilities as the LMSW Assistant Program Director (Clinical Outreach):
  • Team Supervision: Manage and support Team Leaders and outreach staff to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Program Oversight: Provide operational and clinical direction to ensure outreach goals and performance standards are met.
  • Outreach Strategy: Implement engagement strategies to identify and support individuals experiencing homelessness.
  • Crisis Intervention: Support staff with risk assessments, incident management, and de-escalation in high-risk situations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with external agencies, healthcare providers, and community stakeholders to coordinate services.
  • Care Coordination: Oversee delivery of services and support housing placement efforts across multiple providers.

Qualifications for the LMSW Assistant Program Director (Clinical Outreach):
  • Education: Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field is required.
  • Licensure: Active New York State LMSW license is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in outreach, case management, or social services is required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of Housing First, Harm Reduction, and crisis intervention models is required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to manage program documentation systems is required.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities are required.
