Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate live-in companionship and support to the client in a home setting.
- Assist with daily living activities including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility support as needed.
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
- Offer emotional support and engage the client in meaningful conversation and activities.
- Monitor the client’s overall well-being and report any changes or concerns to the care team.
- Assist with medication reminders and follow the established care plan.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate professionally with supervisors and family members when required.
- Build a respectful, supportive, and trusting relationship with the client and family.
Requirements:
- Valid CHHA certification preferred, not required.
- Previous experience in live-in, companion care, or personal caregiving preferred.
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to assist with mobility and daily living activities when required.
- Reliable transportation and flexible scheduling availability.
- Must pass background screening and provide professional references.
- Experience working with elderly or disabled clients is preferred.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and live-in assignments as needed.
- Additional language skills in Hindi are highly valued to support effective communication and client comfort in this specific care environment.
