We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team. In this role, you will be a key player in our litigation process, providing essential support to our attorneys in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment. If you're a detail-oriented professional with a knack for legal research, case management, and a deep understanding of the litigation process, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist attorneys in the preparation and filing of all court documents and have knowledge of electronic court filings and litigation procedures.
2. Conduct legal research and initial case assessments.
3. Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents and file them with the court.
4. Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics, etc.)
5. Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes.
6. Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices.
7. Aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests.
8. Gather relevant information from a variety of sources.
9. Liaise between trial teams and internal/external third parties.
10. Provide assistance with case settlements.

Qualifications:

1. Proven working experience as a litigation paralegal, with a minimum of 5 years in the field.
2. Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, procedures, practices, etc.
3. Highly proficient with eFiling in both State and Federal courts.
4. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
5. Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks.
6. Ability to work well in a team, as well as independently.
7. Proficiency in legal research software and litigation databases.
8. Familiarity with the stages of litigation and deadlines.
9. Paralegal certification or degree in legal studies, law, or related field is preferred.
