We are seeking an Attorney with 3+ years of experience in Education Law, Litigation, Labor & Employment, and Public Agency matters to join the team. This role offers mentorship, professional development, a collaborative culture, advancement opportunities, and exposure to diverse education law matters.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in litigation, mediation, arbitration, and administrative proceedings.
  • Advise on education law, employment matters, workplace investigations, ADA accommodations, and governance issues.
  • Support collective bargaining negotiations and labor relations matters.
  • Handle student-related legal issues including discipline, conduct hearings, FERPA, and First Amendment matters.
  • Counsel clients on special education, business operations, facilities, real estate, and compliance matters.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
  • Minimum of 3 years of legal experience, preferably in public agency representation.
  • Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
  • Knowledge of education law, labor and employment law, or public agency law is preferred.
