We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. As a Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for representing clients in legal proceedings, providing legal advice and guidance, and ensuring that clients' legal rights are protected. You will work closely with clients, court officials, and other legal professionals to ensure successful outcomes in cases.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in legal proceedings, such as trials, hearings, and mediations
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to provide clients with accurate and timely legal advice
  • Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs, and file them with the court
  • Attend depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings on behalf of clients
  • Negotiate settlements and plea bargains with opposing counsel
  • Prepare and present evidence in court
  • Maintain accurate and complete case files and records
  • Communicate with clients to keep them informed of case progress and developments
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals, such as paralegals and legal assistants, to ensure efficient and effective representation of clients

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
  • Active California State Bar membership in good standing
  • 3+ years of experience as a Litigation Attorney, with a focus on Personal Injury cases
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of relevant state and federal laws and regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively
