Litigation Attorney

OverviewFMJ has an opportunity in our Eden Prairie office for a full-time litigation associate attorney with 2 to 4 years of experience in commercial and business litigation matters. The firm is seeking a candidate with strong writing abilities, knowledge of court and procedural rules, experience with written discovery, depositions, motion practice, and court hearings, an understanding of the litigation system, and the ability to work as part of a team. MUST BE LICENSED to practice law in Minnesota.ResponsibilitiesSupport and expand the firm's busy and growing commercial litigation practice.Qualifications2 to 4 years of experience in commercial and business litigation matters.Strong writing abilities.Knowledge of court and procedural rules.Experience with written discovery, depositions, motion practice, and court hearings.Understanding of the litigation system.Ability to work as part of a team.Licensed to practice law in Minnesota.Compensation and BenefitsSalary range for this position is $125,000 to $150,000 and is commensurate with experience.
