Job DetailsResponsibilities:
As a Permanent Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload involving a wide range of litigation matters, including real estate, commercial litigation, business litigation, property litigation, and construction litigation.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Representing clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in civil litigation.
2. Conducting legal research and gathering evidence for lawsuits, preparing legal documents, and advising clients on their legal rights.
3. Managing all phases of litigation from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
4. Negotiating settlements in complex litigation cases to avoid court proceedings and reduce costs for clients.
5. Developing relationships with clients and working closely with them to understand their business objectives and legal needs.
6. Collaborating with a team of attorneys and paralegals to ensure the best representation for our clients.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have:
1. A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. Active membership in the California State Bar.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate, commercial litigation, business litigation, property litigation, and construction litigation.
4. Proven track record of successfully litigating cases and negotiating settlements.
5. Strong analytical, research, and negotiation skills.
6. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
7. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
8. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
10. Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
