Compensation & Bonus
- Base Salary: $180,000 – $200,000
- Annual Bonus: $5,000 – $20,000 after 1,800 billable hours
Position Overview
A law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to handle complex litigation matters across a variety of industries. This role is ideal for an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and seeks strong career growth opportunities while working on sophisticated litigation matters.
Practice Areas
Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following:
- Commercial Real Estate
- Construction Litigation
- Property Liability

- Mass Tort Defense
Key Responsibilities
- Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and discovery responses
- Assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
- Support case strategy and overall litigation management
- Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and opposing counsel
- Maintain organized case files and ensure deadlines are met
Qualifications
- An active North Carolina Bar license is required
- 2–6 years of litigation experience preferred
- Candidates with 1+ years of relevant litigation experience will also be considered
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
- Experience in the listed practice areas strongly preferred
