Our client, a thriving boutique firm in NYC, is seeking an associate with at least three years of litigation experience. This is an opportunity to do substantive, meaningful work while gaining true first-chair experience. Associates here are trusted with real responsibility, from client intake to drafting pleadings, managing discovery, handling court conferences, and briefing motions in matters pending in both state and federal court. You'll work directly with the firm's founder—an experienced, approachable partner who provides mentorship and support without micromanagement. In addition to litigation, associates may also have the opportunity to assist with occasional transactional matters for the firm's corporate clients. The role can be performed fully remotely, although candidates who prefer an office environment are welcome to work in the City on a hybrid basis. The firm values responsiveness, professionalism, and ownership of cases, but does not operate with a rigid "face time" culture. Attorneys are trusted to manage their schedules, meet deadlines, and provide excellent client service.Base salary is $120,000, with substantial upside tied to performance and billable hours. This position is particularly attractive for attorneys seeking flexibility and work-life balance, while also offering a clear path to significantly increased compensation for those who wish to take on a larger workload.
