About the Opportunity

A well-established Staten Island law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with experienced leadership and gain hands-on exposure across multiple areas of litigation.

The firm is looking for someone with strong litigation and trial experience, but is also open to training a motivated attorney eager to grow within the practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal documents
• Conduct legal research and case strategy development
• Appear in court for conferences, hearings, and trials
• Handle depositions, discovery, and negotiations
• Work closely with senior attorneys on complex matters

Qualifications

• Active NY Bar admission required
• 2+ years of litigation experience preferred
• Trial experience strongly preferred
• Strong writing, research, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
• Highly motivated and eager to grow within a litigation practice
