Contract Details

  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 4 months (possible extension; potential to convert to permanent)
  • Pay Rate: $30.00 $31.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Shift / Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Job Summary

As a CBRE LIS Coordinator, you will provide support services to facilitate the repair, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory instrumentation. This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with staff about services required for installation, maintenance, moves, and relocations.
  • Ensure customer requirements are met based on review of GxP pipette or similar instrument certificates/tests records provided by third-party service provider(s).
  • Perform daily equipment preparation and setup.
  • Make sure that equipment is available for staff scientist.
  • Replenish solvents used with laboratory equipment, as needed.
  • Gather documentation for inspection and audit purposes.
  • Provide training support and backup to department personnel for the review of GxP pipette or similar certificates and test reports.
  • Follow standardized procedures and practices and receive regular but moderate supervision and guidance.
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
  • Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
  • Escort engineers into laboratories and remind engineers of safety.
  • Schedule additional services and contact vendors.
  • Confirm scheduling with instrument owners and confirm registration with CMMS software.
  • Escort vendors out at the end of the day.
  • Conduct auditing training.

  • Basic math skills; ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.

  • CMMS experience
  • Advanced Excel experience
  • Familiarity working with pharmaceuticals or controlled access

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Up to 2 years of job-related experience

Required Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of job-related experience

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • R&D site environment
  • Candidate will be doing a significant amount of walking
  • Work will be done primarily independently, outside of escorting duties
  • Background check required: CBRE Safety Specific with drug screen
  • Overtime may be required
