Position: Liquor Store Cashier & Delivery Driver
Location: Easton, MD
Job Type: Part-time


Job Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cashier & Delivery Driver. In this dual role, your primary responsibility will be to provide excellent customer service at the register, ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout process. You will also be asked to fulfill delivery requests when needed, ensuring timely and professional delivery of liquor to customers’ locations.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service.
  • Operate the cash register, process transactions, and handle cash, credit, or debit payments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.
  • Assist customers with product selections, making recommendations when needed.
  • Ensure all merchandise is properly stocked and displayed.
  • Fulfill delivery requests when necessary, delivering products to customers’ homes or businesses.
  • Accurately record delivery details, including payment and delivery information.
  • Follow safety and legal guidelines regarding the sale and delivery of alcohol.
  • Assist with store inventory and help organize stock as needed.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor while handling customer inquiries or issues.
Requirements:


  • At least 21 years of age to comply with liquor sales and delivery regulations.
  • Use of personal vehicle for all deliveries. 
  • Previous cashier or retail experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for delivery tasks.
  • Reliable vehicle for making deliveries (mileage reimbursement may be provided).
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy cases of alcohol (up to 50 lbs).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Compensation:


  • Base Hourly Pay: $16-19 per hour.
  • Tips: In addition to the base hourly pay, you will receive tips for deliveries, which can significantly increase your overall earnings. Typically seen $20-25/hr+
