How You Will Make an Impact:
The Line Server is responsible for organizing and plating/packaging orders for customers in a corporate cafeteria setting.
- Set up prep station for daily service.
- Stock service stations with items, such as ice, napkins, or straws.
- Serve customers based on station's daily menu items.
- Perform food preparation tasks, such as making sandwiches, carving meats, and packaging soups and salads.
- Add relishes and garnishes to food orders, according to instructions.
- Restock kitchen supplies, rotate food, and stamp the time and date on food in coolers.
- Clean food preparation equipment, work areas, and counters or tables.
- Perform general cleaning activities in kitchen.
- Work in accordance with food safety and safety guidelines.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 1+ years experience in food service
- Experience working in a cafeteria setting (or similar) preferred
- Top notch customer service skills
