Key Responsibilities
Execute made-to-order sandwiches, wraps, and salads quickly and accurately to spec
Run the line during rushes: manage ticket flow, pace, and communication with the team
Maintain high standards for portioning, consistency, and presentation
Prep and portion ingredients efficiently (slicing, labeling, organizing, stocking)
Support catering prep as needed (trays, sides, soups/salads, packaging)
Keep the line set, stocked, and service ready at all times
Help train and steady newer team members during prep and service
Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow food safety standards
Support opening/closing tasks (setup, breakdown, cleaning)
Qualifications
2+ years in a fast-paced kitchen or deli environment preferred
Strong line instincts: speed + accuracy + calm under pressure
Comfortable with knives and slicers; safety-first mindset
Reliable, organized, and able to self-manage prep priorities
Team-oriented communicator (calls things out, asks questions, helps others succeed)
Food safety knowledge a plus (or able to learn quickly)
Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb
