Key Responsibilities
- Set up and stock food items and supplies for smooth kitchen operations
- Prepare food by cutting, chopping, mixing, and making sauces with precision
- Cook dishes using grilling, frying, sautéing, and other methods to meet recipe standards
- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to food sanitation and storage requirements
- Clean and sanitize cooking surfaces to ensure a safe kitchen
- Perform inventory checks and complete food storage logs accurately
Qualifications & Skills
- Team player that works well with others, hard working, and reliable
- One to two years of experience as a line cook or prep cook preferred
- Familiarity with various cooking methods and industry best practices
- Strong communication skills and works well under pressure
- Organized, committed to recipe accuracy, and works at a fast pace
