Field Day Brewing Co., the first and only brewery in North Liberty, IA, is hiring experienced part-time Line Cooks to join our team.

In this role, you’ll prepare and execute menu items with consistency and attention to detail. You’ll work closely with the kitchen team to keep the line organized, maintain a clean workspace, and help ensure smooth, efficient service. We have established ourselves as the premier lager brewery in Iowa while executing everything from hazy IPAs, bold barrel-aged stouts, to fruit forward sours. In addition to our craft beer program, we offer a full service restaurant with a menu prepared on site. Field Day is a place where guests can gather, relax, and enjoy great food, beverages, and hospitality.

As Field Day continues to grow, our vision includes expanding our hospitality driven taproom experience into new markets such as Des Moines and Kansas City.

In addition to our amazingly brewed beverages, we offer a full-service menu carefully constructed and prepared on-site by our amazing cooks.

Pay: $15- $22/ hour based on experience

Schedule: Part-time (20–30 hours per week). Primarily evenings and weekends, especially Sundays.

Job Responsibilities

  • Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
  • Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces
  • Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
  • Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
  • Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
  • Exceptional communication skills- the ability to communicate clearly with the Chefs or highest management on the line.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.
  • Stand for long periods of time
  • 1+ years of line cook experience
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
