We are looking to add  Line Cooks to our team.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Line Cook to join our team in an upscale dining environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about culinary excellence, thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, and is committed to delivering high-quality dishes with precision and consistency.

As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and executing menu items according to the restaurant’s standards, maintaining strict food safety and sanitation practices, and collaborating with the culinary team to ensure seamless service. You will work across designated stations, manage prep work efficiently, and support daily kitchen operations while upholding the highest standards of presentation and flavor.

Success in this role requires strong knife skills, knowledge of classical and contemporary cooking techniques, the ability to work under pressure, and a dedication to teamwork and professionalism. Prior experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Sets up the station in time for service according to restaurant guidelines
  • Prepares all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
  • Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the chef or restaurant
  • Restocks all items as needed throughout the shift and is responsible for taking inventory after service
  • Cleans and maintains stations in practicing good safety, sanitation, organizational skills
  • Has understanding and knowledge to properly use and maintain all equipment in the station
  • Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas
  • Performs additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by the Chef, and Sous Chef at any time

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED a plus but not required
  • Previous experience a plus
  • A thorough and deep understanding of professional cooking including basic techniques and working food knowledge.
  • Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.
  • Previous prep or line cook experience.
  • Professional communications skills are required
