DescriptionLine Cook Job Description* Eligible for $500 referral bonus!*Wage: $18 -$21.00/hour.Shift: Full time. 40 hours weekly. You'll prepare high-quality dishes, work alongside talented culinary professionals, and contribute to a positive, fast-paced environment where teamwork and attention to detail are valued.Responsibilities* Prepare and cook menu items according to Harvest's recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.* Set up and stock stations with all necessary ingredients and supplies before service.* Execute dishes efficiently and consistently during service.* Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation throughout each shift.* Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures.* Assist with food prep, inventory management, and storage tasks as needed.* Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house team members.* Support teammates during busy service periods and help foster a positive team culture.* Exemplify Thanksgiving Point's mission, values, and policies.* Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements:* Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred (1+ year ideal), but we're happy to train motivated candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.* Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.* Basic knife skills and knowledge of cooking techniques, or a desire to develop them.* Ability to stay organized and perform well in a fast-paced environment.* Strong teamwork and communication skills.* Positive attitude, reliability, and attention to detail.* Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain one).* Must pass a background check.Why Join Harvest?* Work with fresh, seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.* Leave work by 10/11pm and have Sundays off!* Be part of a supportive and collaborative kitchen team.* Gain hands-on culinary experience and develop your skills.* Contribute to an organization dedicated to creating meaningful experiences for guests and the community.EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
