Line Cook Job Description

• Eligible for $500 referral bonus!*

Wage: $18 -$21.00/hour.

Shift: Full time. 40 hours weekly. Last seating for dinner is at 9pm, and we are closed Sundays!

Summary

As a Line Cook, you'll be an essential part of our kitchen team, helping deliver exceptional food and service during evening operations. You'll prepare high-quality dishes, work alongside talented culinary professionals, and contribute to a positive, fast-paced environment where teamwork and attention to detail are valued.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to Harvest's recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary ingredients and supplies before service.
• Execute dishes efficiently and consistently during service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation throughout each shift.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures.
• Assist with food prep, inventory management, and storage tasks as needed.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house team members.
• Support teammates during busy service periods and help foster a positive team culture.
• Exemplify Thanksgiving Point's mission, values, and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred (1+ year ideal), but we're happy to train motivated candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Basic knife skills and knowledge of cooking techniques, or a desire to develop them.
• Ability to stay organized and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain one).
• Must pass a background check.
