Job Summary:
As a line cook in our fast-casual kitchen, you'll be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items efficiently and accuratetly, maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness, and contributing to a postitive team environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and values consistency, teamwork and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prep ingredients and set up your station for efficient service
- Cook menu items quickly and accurately, following established recipes
- Manage multiple orders during busy periods while maintaining quality
- Keep your station clean, organized and compliant with food safety standards
- Support co-workers to ensure smooth kitchen operations and guest satisfaction
- Assist with closing duties, cleaning and inventory checks
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of kitchen or line cook experience preferred
- ServSafe Food Handler certification required or willingness to obtain
- Strong multi-tasking and time-management skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Reliable team player that's able to follow systems and procedures
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Available nights, weekends, and holidays (closed for Thanksgiving and Christmas)
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Culinary training is a plus, but not required
