The Detroit Athletic Club is seeking an experienced and motivated Line Cook to join our talented kitchen staff. Our club is known for its exceptional dining experiences, world-class amenities, and commitment to excellence in every detail.
As a Line Cook, you'll work alongside skilled chefs in a fast-paced, professional environment where quality, consistency, and creativity shine. You'll play a key role in preparing high-end dishes for our members and guests across multiple dining outlets and events.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items according to club recipes and standards
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of work areas
Ensure quality, presentation, and timing of dishes meet club expectations
Assist with prep work, inventory, and daily setup/breakdown
Work collaboratively with the culinary team to deliver an exceptional dining experience
Previous line cook or culinary experience required (private club or fine dining preferred)
Strong attention to detail and a passion for great food
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a team-oriented kitchen
