SmallBiz Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Line Cook for a popular local diner in Crossville. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, takes pride in preparing quality meals, and understands the importance of food safety and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Complete daily food prep and stock preparation stations
Operate cooking equipment including grills and fryers
Maintain proper portion control and food presentation
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Keep workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas clean and organized
Assist with inventory rotation and proper food storage
Work efficiently with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
Requirements
Previous line cook or kitchen experience required
Must be at least 18 years old
High school diploma or GED
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and attendance
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies as needed
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
