Client Details
A respected Chicagoland general contractor specializing in light industrial, warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, and logistics projects. The company has experienced significant growth and maintains a strong backlog of repeat clients.
Description
- Prepare conceptual, budgetary, and hard-bid estimates for industrial projects.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids.
- Conduct quantity takeoffs and pricing analysis.
- Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
- Participate in client meetings and project handoffs.
Profile
- 3+ years of estimating experience with a GC.
- Experience estimating warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, or similar projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction means and methods.
- Proficiency with estimating software and Excel.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
