Shift: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Monday–Friday)

Position Overview
We are seeking Fabrication Specialists (Electrical/Electronic Assembly) to support a large aerospace manufacturing and assembly program in New Orleans, LA. This role focuses on composite fabrication, electrical installation, and electronic assembly on complex aerospace systems. Training will be provided onsite for program-specific requirements.
Successful completion of required training (OJT or formal classroom) is mandatory for assignment continuation.
Key Responsibilities
Perform composite fabrication of detail parts and sub-assemblies using carbon fiber, fiberglass, and other lightweight aerospace materials
Set up and operate automated Client-up and NC equipment
Perform hand Client-up, fabrication, and assembly tasks using established tooling and procedures
Assemble and install electrical and electronic components and sub-assemblies
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and engineering drawings
Select correct materials, parts, tools, hardware, and assemblies per work instructions
Identify and report workmanship errors, material defects, and process issues per standard procedures
Prepare test articles, fixtures, and data collection devices
Perform basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparation
Apply routine organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance
Maintain strict safety, housekeeping, and FOD (Foreign Object Debris) standards
Coordinate work and communicate effectively across shifts
Day-to-Day Work
Contractors will support installation of electrical and electronic components on a large aerospace vehicle. Work may rotate across various areas of the New Orleans facility based on program needs. Project-specific training will be provided once onsite.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Approximately 3 years of electrical installation or electrical assembly experience
Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics
Comfortable working at heights and using JLG lift equipment
Physically able to stand, bend, and perform hands-on fabrication and assembly tasks

No routine travel required (if ever needed, travel would be to Florida)
