District Swimming Pool
Description:
Responsible for teaching swim lessons, lifeguarding during lessons and recreational swim times, and helping to maintain the cleanliness of the pool deck.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must be 16 years of age or older (15 1/2 year olds accepted with workers permit)
- Requires certification in lifeguarding/first aid, CPR/AED for lifeguards and Bloodborne Pathogens
- Requires 0 to 2 years of job-related prior experience
Essential Job Functions include the following:- Instructs students age 3 and up to swim
- Tests students and places them in the correct class
- Keeps parents informed of the student's progress
- Guards the pool during recreational swim times
- Helps with general maintenance
- Initiates emergency procedures
- Other job duties may be assigned
