Givens Aldersgate is looking for a full-time Life Enrichment Coordinator who will be responsible for implementing activities that enhance the quality of life and well-being of Assisted Living residents. In this role you will promote social engagement, and support the physical, emotional, and cognitive needs of the residents.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday: 8 am to 5 pm
What you'll do:
- Plan, coordinate, implement, document, and evaluate activities that enhance the quality of life and well-being of residents in assisted living.
- Collaborate with residents, families, staff and volunteers to develop a vibrant and fulfilling activity program.
- Organize special events, outings, and celebrations for residents and their families.
- Coordinate logistics, secure necessary resources, and ensure events run smoothly.
- Work closely with other departments to integrate activity programming into overall plans of care.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and standards related to life enrichment programing, resident rights, and safety protocols.
- Secure contracted services, such as art and music therapy.
- Maintain accurate records of program attendance, resident participation, and program outcomes.
What you'll need
- 2+ Years of experience with adult recreation or activities programs
- 2 + Years of experience working with patients in memory care
- Activity Director Certification or CTRS
Compensation: $22 -$24 per hour.
