Lincoln Tech is seeking a Licensing Readiness Advisor to focus on the preparation for the NCLEX-PN exam through the use of a series of testing, review, and remediation of content area deficits for students throughout the program. The LRA establishes a partnership with the student with the mutual goal of timely NCLEX-PN testing and success. In addition, this role supports the student's timely processing of the NCLEX-PN application and exam scheduling to occur optimally within a maximum time period of 30 days post NCLEX-PN readiness determination date. The LRA also trains the faculty and students beginning with the first term and continuing across the nursing program in test-taking strategies, ATI integration, and remediation learning activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare students for the NCLEX-PN exam
  • Facilitate a student-centered learning process
  • Communicate, support, and enforce school policies and procedures; advise students accordingly
  • Provide students with academic support, remediation and skills enhancement as necessary
  • Participate actively & cooperatively with other campus functional departments in support of overall campus goals
  • Complete required training materials for the assigned position & remain abreast of curricula updates
  • Earn and update required credentials related to the position in accordance with the Company's requirements for the assigned position (e.g. certifications, licensing, continuing education units, or similar)
  • Contribute to the curriculum review process as necessary and required

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of related practical experience with students nearing graduation and preparing for the NCLEX-PN exam.
  • BSN required, MSN preferred
  • ATI Champion Certification obtained during Lincoln onboarding
  • The necessary academic credentials and work-related experience mandated by the company, state, accreditation, and any other regulatory agencies that monitor compliance
  • Certified or licensed where required by law
