Oak Grove School District has a total student enrollment of approximately 8,690 from grades TK-8. There are 15 elementary schools and 3 intermediate schools. Six out of seventeen schools receive Title I funds. Schools range from the highest student enrollment (730) to the lowest student enrollment (269). The percentage of English Learners is 29% representing 56 languages spoken in the district. Oak Grove School District's focus is driven by the LCAP (Local Control Accountability Plan) and school site-specific SPSA (Single Plan for Student Achievement) which identifies short, intermediate, and long-term goals. First and foremost in all activities is the safety of students as well as student success in the areas of math and reading/language arts interwoven with science, social studies and visual and performing arts. Student performance goals have been integrated into the state and federal accountability systems. Annually, the LCAP and SPSA s are updated with our students, staff and various community groups in keeping with our core values, the vision, and the annual goals. The District is located in the southeastern corner of San Jose, California bounded by Capitol Expressway to the north, Canoas Creek to the west, Bernal Road to the south and the foothills to the east. CERTIFICATION • Possession of a current valid license as a vocational nurse issued by the California State Board of Vocational Nurse Examiners. Graduate from an accredited school of vocational nursing • Valid California Driver's License • Basic First Aid, CPR, and AED

WORKING CONDITIONS • Primarily indoor working environment in school health office • May assist students restrooms or other designated areas • May require driving a vehicle to conduct work PHYSCIAL DEMANDS/HAZARDS • Bending at the waist, kneeling or crouching • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a variety of medical instruments and equipment as well as office equipment • Moderate to heavy physical effort; ability to reach in all directions; lifting carrying (up to 50 lbs. unassisted) as assigned by position • Sitting or standing for extended periods seeing, hearing and speaking to exchange information • Moderate to high stress level • Exposure to and contact with blood and other bodily fluids. All fluids shall be handled as in infectious; universal precautions policy to be consistently implemented. Exposure to communicable diseases
