ABOUT THE POSITION
The County of Riverside - Riverside University Health System (RUHS) is seeking a Per Diem Spanish Bilingual Licensed Vocational Nurse II within the Community Health Centers department to join their CHC Mobile Health Clinic in Corona.
Under supervision and direction of a registered nurse, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, or physician, the incumbent will be responsible for performing nursing duties within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act for vocational nursing in the care of patients in the Department of Mental Health or Public Health Ambulatory Family Health Center; and perform other related duties as required.
At Riverside University Health System Mobile Health Clinic Program, we are looking for team members who are passionate about serving underserved and vulnerable communities. Our program brings healthcare directly into the community by providing accessible, compassionate, and patient-centered care to individuals who may otherwise face barriers to healthcare access.
Working in the Mobile Health Clinic requires flexibility, teamwork, cultural sensitivity, and a strong commitment to public health. Our staff work in fast-paced community settings where no two days are the same. We value individuals who can adapt quickly, communicate effectively, and treat every patient with dignity and respect.
This is more than just a clinical role - it is an opportunity to make a direct impact in the community by improving health outcomes, building trust, and connecting patients to essential healthcare services.
At least 2 years of LVN experience in a public health setting is preferred.
Required valid licenses and certificates:
Copies of ALL certifications must be uploaded to your profile as an attachment at the time of submitting your application to be considered. If you are having difficulties uploading your required documents, please email them to rpadilla@rivco.org.
Work Schedule: The regular work schedule for this position is a 5/40 schedule, Monday through Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
However, due to the nature of Mobile Health Clinic operations and community outreach events, employees must be flexible and available to work occasional evenings, weekends, or adjusted schedules based on operational and community needs. Flexibility is essential to ensure continued access to services for the communities we serve.
