Position Summary
Provide direct nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, performing both routine and advanced clinical tasks. They monitor health conditions, assist with medical procedures, train support staff, and help ensure each resident’s safety, comfort, and well-being.
✅ Qualifications
Must hold an active LVN license and be eligible to practice in Texas
Preferably 1+ years of direct care nursing experience (acute care, LTC, community clinics, public health, etc.)
Charge nurse or supervisory experience preferred
Active American Heart Association CPR certification
Ability to commit to a 6-month contract
Willing to work rotating schedules, including 3 weekends/month (every other weekend may be considered)
